Campus Life encourages all current students to join or create new Chartered Student Organizations (CSOs)! Your participation provides a valuable experience that can have a positive effect on your college years as well as your future professional and personal life. CSOs also contribute to the CCA community at large by involving others to work collaboratively toward a shared goal and are responsible for the vibrant campus life.

We look forward to helping you get involved!

Current Chartered Student Organizations (CSO)

  • CCA Community Members Only: 2024-25 Previous Student Organization List & Contact Information (CCA email required to view). This is a living document that lists what CSOs are on-campus. Please note that this is not updated for the 2025-2026 academic year, yet. If you don't see one that matches your interest, consider chartering a new organization or contacting us to renew a previous CSO!

Create a New Chartered Student Organization

Feel like something’s missing in the student community? Have an idea for a great new CSO? The Student Engagement team in Campus Life is ready to walk you through the process!

If you have any questions or need assistance with the required charter application form, email campuslife@cca.edu.

HOWY Club

Please note that the CSO application process for the fall 2025 semester has closed. No late submissions are being accepted. If your group missed the fall 2025 deadline, you can still operate as an Ad Hoc student club (click the link here for more details on Ad Hoc student clubs) until the spring 2026 application goes live in January 2026.

How to Get Started

  • Complete the Chartered Student Organization (CSO) Application Form.
  • Gather at least three members. (A new Chartered Student Organization must have at least three members to become chartered.)
  • Choose an advisor. Any faculty or staff member can be an advisor to a CSO. (Note: This person must be able to commit to being present at your large events and programs on/off campus.)
  • Schedule a time to meet with the Campus Life Graduate Assistant for Student Engagement for Chartered Student Organization training to learn the policies, resources, and benefits to being a CSO.

Renewing a Charter

  • For inquiries about reviving a previously existing CSO, email campuslife@cca.edu for next steps. Please note that all steps above still apply for renewing a previous Chartered Student Organization.
