Welcome to Student Services!

This page explains the fastest way to get answers—whether you’re looking for a quick how‑to, need to talk with a student service department, or have a more complex situation.

At Student Services, our mission is to serve as a central hub that empowers students to navigate their educational journey with confidence and agency. Through personalized guidance, responsive support, and skill-building, we help students overcome challenges and develop the tools to engage fully and successfully with CCA.


Student Services encompasses the following departments:

  • Financial Aid – can answer questions about Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA), scholarships and loans, and work-study programs
  • Student Accounts—manages billing for tuition and fees and administer payment plans
  • Academic Advising and Planning—create academic plans for new incoming students and advise students on what courses to take
  • Student Records—handle transcripts and the course registration process
  • Housing and Residential Education—oversees CCA's housing application, room assignments, roommate matching,
  • Dining and Transportation—oversee the college meal plans and CCApass (Muni/public transit)
  • International Student Services (ISS)—guides CCA's international student community on maintaining F-1 student nonimmigrant status and understanding US immigration requirements

Urgent & Crisis Concerns

Urgent Assistance

  • For medical or mental health emergencies, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
  • For urgent, non-emergency mental health issues requiring immediate attention, please call CCA's mental health crisis hotline: 415.551.9344.
  • For campus-related emergencies, please call CCA's Public Safety department: 415.703.9510.

Non-Urgent Inquiries

  • To report a concern regarding a CCA student, please submit a CCA Cares Form. (Please note: Do not use this form for emergency situations requiring immediate attention.)

Service Hours & Locations

Hours: Monday–Friday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm PST.

  • Virtual Support: ask@cca.edu
  • In-Person Support: Student Services Suite (right side), 80 Carolina, 1st floor
  • Closures (holidays, breaks) are posted on the academic calendar.

We handle your information in accordance with FERPA and college policy. We’ll only share details with staff who need to know in order to assist you.
