Scholarly Platform
Logging In to Scholarly
You can access your Scholarly profile by going to app.scholarlysoftware.com and logging in using your CCA login credentials.
Accessing Your Scholarly Profile (a.k.a. your new FRR)
From the home landing page you can get to your profile two ways:
- Click the Profile tab on the left hand menu.
- Click your name in the upper right corner, then select Scholarly Profile.
On this Profile page, you'll see all of the data that was imported from your FRR. If you don't see any data, you either did not have an FRR document, or it is blank. Each tab of this profile maps directly to a tab of the FRR spreadsheet.
Reviewing Your Profile
If you had a Faculty Record Report with data entered in the Google Sheet version prior to May 2024, all of your data from that sheet has been imported into Scholarly.
Please review the entries for accuracy. I ask that you pay special attention to the "Approx # Hours/Term" on the "Service to the College" tab for the following considerations:
- If you had put a range of hours (ex. "6 - 7") in your FRR, the hyphen likely translated to a nonsensical number in Scholarly. Please correct these fields in Scholarly to a single number.
- Activities that you engaged in over a long period of time now show up multiple times, once for each semester you engaged in them. For example, if your FRR listed that you were on the Curriculum Committee from Fall 2014 to Spring 2017, you will now have six entries (FA14, SP15, FA15, SP16, FA16, SP17) for Curriculum Committee service. Please verify that the approximate hours you entered are reflective of how much time you spent in a single semester, not the cumulative duration of your service.
If you were hired after May 2024, or if your Google Sheets version of your FRR was blank, your Scholarly profile does not have any entries and you will need to fill it out.
Editing and Adding New Information
To correct an existing entry, click the "Edit" button at the top right of the section you'd like to revise. You can then click the edit icon to update any of the data.
To add a new item, click the Edit button from a section of your profile, and then the "Add [item type]" button in the upper right.
Please note that many of the description fields allow rich text, and also accept links and attachments. This is all new functionality for CCA, so your feedback on how this might be useful and leveraged for our processes is greatly appreciated.
For your upcoming promotion review we will pull your FRR from Scholarly, so there is no need for you to also update your Google spreadsheet any longer.
