  • Demonstrate and engage in the creation of knowledge in the field, such as literary theory; literary, social, and political movements and their implications for the writer’s own work; traditional and nontraditional research methods; and critical analysis by producing one or more critical essays and/ or research papers.
  • Provide constructive criticism to peers, soliciting criticism of their own work, and selectively incorporating feedback in their work.
  • Identify historical and contemporary influences on their work.
  • Utilize practical experience acquired by teaching, coaching, tutoring, interning, editing, curating, and writing skills to obtain post-MFAW employment.
