Modify Approved Absence Request
1 Run the Manage Absence task
Or, on the Global Navigation Menu (left side of the window), you can go to Personal > Time Off > Time Management Hub. Hover over the luggage icon for the Manage Absence task.
If you have no approved requests, you’ll see a message to that effect. Otherwise, you’ll see the Manage Absence calendar.

2 Adjust the month and/or year
Adjust the month and/or year according to the date of the absence request.
On the Manage Absence calendar, you can scroll through the months using the < or > buttons, or click on the Month for a dropdown menu, then choose a different month.
3 Select the approved absence request you need to modify
Click the time off item that displays in the calendar. It should have a checkmark to show it has been approved.
4 Remove a day from the request
To remove a day from the request entirely, click Cancel Absence.
Otherwise, click Edit:
- If each day of the request will be adjusted in the same way, enter your changes and click Submit Request.
- Alternatively, click Edit Individual Days, then on each day you would like to update. You can change the Absence Type and Hours (Daily) for each day.
5 Adjust the Type
Adjust the Absence Type and/or the Hours (Daily) (hours being taken off per day) as needed.
Repeat steps 5-6 for any other days you need to change.
6 Review your adjustments, Submit
Review your adjustments in the table shown, then click Submit.
You can discard any changes by clicking Cancel instead.
